Q: Will players be required to wear face coverings?

A:

Face coverings are required for all players upon entering or exiting.  Once a player is on the (field/rink/gym), he/she may remove it face covering if they cannot tolerate it while playing.  

Q: Should players come dressed and ready to play?

A:

Yes, all players should come to the arena "Ready to Play." This is not a mandate, but a request.

Q: Are spectators allowed to attend a league game or activity?

A:

ADULT LEAGUES: No,

YOUTH LEAGUES: Yes, however only one (1) spectator per player is allowed.  There are no exceptions to this requirement. 

Q: Will spectators be required to wear face coverings?

A:

Face coverings are required for all spectators.  If you have a health issue that makes you unable to tolerate a face covering, you do not need to wear one.  See below for spectator restrictions. Social distancing markers have been placed throughout The Sports Arena.

Q: Will temperatures be taken before entering the facility?

A:

Yes, temperatures are taken for all customers/staff entering the facility.  Any person whose temperature is 99.5 F or above is not permitted to enter the facility.

Q: What are the cleaning/sanitizing procedures?

A:

  • At the conclusion of each game/activity, our maintenance team follows enhanced cleaning protocols to sanitize the playing area and stands prior to the next scheduled game/activity.  The Sports Arena's game/activity schedule has accounted for this extra cleaning time.  Please be respectful of this added measure and look to exit promptly after the game/activity you are atttending has concluded.
  • Notwithstanding all the precautions that The Sports Arena will take, due to the nature of the virus, the risk of contracting COVID-19 remains, as we are all aware.  Please be safe, respect others and follow all of the precautions, protections and protocols put in place.  

Q: What should I do when I arrive for my game/activity?

A:

  • Incoming teams and spectators are not allowed to enter the facility until both our cleaning and sanitizing has been completed AND the opposing teams have exited.  At that time, incoming players and spectators will be allowed to enter from the designated area onto the rink or to a designated viewing location as defined by social distancing markers. 

Q: Do I have to leave after the conclusion of my game/activity?

A:

Yes,upon the conclusion of each game, players and spectators are asked to exit the arena fairly quickly so that our staff can prepare for the next game.   

Q: Am I able to schedule a Group Event, Birthday Party or Private Party?

A:

No, As of November 13, The Sports Arena is not scheduling parties or events of any type.
