DRAFT LEAGUE - EAST and WEST
Players register as individuals
Skill balanced teams are created to ensure competitive teams
Mandatory equal playing time - coaches are responsible but monitored by the league
The league reserves the right to remove any coach or player not abiding by the guidelines.
HOUSE LEAGUE
Established teams can register together with a minimum of 11 players
No evaluation process
Playing time is at the discretion of the coach - league will not monitor playing time
House league will be at a higher skill and experience level than the draft league
Equipment: Street hockey helmet with full face cage, shin guards, elbow pads, hockey gloves, hockey stick, protective cup(for all boys)
Goalies: leg pads, goalie glove & blocker (no baseball mitts) chest protector, helmet
Game Length:
Pee Wee (4 to 6 years old): 15 minute practice followed by 2 - 12 minute periods
Penguin (7 to 9 years old): 5 minute warm up followed by 3 - 12 minute periods
Beaver (10 to 12 years old): 5 minute warm up followed by 3 - 12 minute periods
Cadet (13 to 15 years old): 5 minute warm up followed by 3 - 12 minute periods
